We need your help! Salaam is funded by members and donations. Salaam has received a number of requests for financial assistance from LGBTI Muslim youth, as well as others on Disability of Limited Income.
We would like to bring queer Muslim youth from across Canada and the USA. Egale Canada [Egale.ca] a Canadian Queer Rights organization has generously offered us the use of their tax charitable status.
Even if you cannot attend the Vancouver Conference and/or want to donate to Salaam’s work and in particular enable Queer and trans Muslim youth and people with disability to be able to attend the conference, please donate either directly to Salaam via PayPal or if you require a tax receipt – please donate through www.egale.ca/donate. You must mark the donation ‘For Salaam: Queer Muslim Community” under “Notes or Directions”.
